Sports Field Design & Consulting
Jim Puhalla has been in the sports field design and consulting business for over 40 years completing hundreds of projects throughout Ohio and Western PA plus Southeast Michigan in Metro Detroit, Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, and in Southern California in Greater Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.
He is coauthor of 4 sports field books that are used by college professors and students, engineers, architects, landscape architects, park and recreation directors, athletic directors at high schools and universities, and by the Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA) for anyone studying for Sports Field Manager Certification.
Throughout the years, Jim kept up with changing technology developing his own design, construction, and renovation methods for improving the quality of sports fields. He enjoys sharing his experience through his designs, consultations, trade magazine articles, speaking engagements, and his sports field books.
